Inspiration For The Positano Collection

Say Hello To Positano

Inspired by the architecture of The Amalfi Coast and stones that remind me of summertime, the Positano Collection will feature bold colors, drawing heavily from the bright citrus of both Italy and Florida. Left Photo by @ananewyork.

As with most of my collections, I wanted to bring in a touch of Italy, so instead of focusing solely on Florida citrus, I'm combining that inspiration with a destination at the top of my bucket list, the seaside town of Positano along the Amalfi Coast.

You may know it for its famous striped beach umbrellas and wealth of lemon trees. It possesses both a classic 60's vibe similar to the photography of Slim Aarons and an old-world sophistication.

The Gemstones

I'm stepping outside of my comfort zone for this collection by sourcing colors outside of my normal pastel range (and stone quality outside of my normal budget range)! I obviously had to select the best citrines and lemon sapphires, but in addition to those, I've also found some of the most electric emeralds and cornflower blue sapphires I've ever come across. Unheated tanzanites and spinel round out the range. I'll be sharing more about the ethical suppliers of these beautiful stones in future blog posts!

The Scarves

This season's silk scarves are printed in London on 100% silk twill and are the perfect, lightweight addition to any outfit. Inspired by citrus groves, cool tiles under your feet, and breezy rides on Vespas, this new offering of silk scarves are designed to transport. The scarf pictured above on the left is a new colorway of our signature design from last season, and the scarf on the right is an all-new, hand-painted design.

The Motifs

In addition to bold, graphic stripes, this season will incorporate more tropical, botanic motifs reminiscent of the Amalfi Coast and Florida.

The Rings
